DivinityLearn ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our AI learning companion. We are committed to safeguarding student data and ensuring that AI is used responsibly in educational environments. By using the service you agree to this policy.

We collect the minimum information needed to provide the service:

• Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name to create and manage your account. We do not request access to your Google Drive, contacts, or other Google data.
• Learning data: Your conversations, questions, uploaded documents, and created content are stored to enable the AI to work for you and to maintain continuity across sessions.
• Usage information: We may log basic usage patterns (such as session counts and feature usage) to improve the service and diagnose technical issues.

Your data is used for two purposes only:

• Signup & authentication: To create and verify your account so you can access DivinityLearn.
• Making the AI work for you: To provide personalized learning, remember your progress, generate relevant content, and enable agentic capabilities like web browsing, research, and multi-step task execution.

We do not use your data for any other purpose. We do not sell your data. We do not use your conversations or learning content to train external AI models. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising.

When DivinityLearn is used in a school environment, student data governance works as follows:

• Student data created or used within a school-managed environment may be accessible to authorized school administrators and teachers for educational oversight, safeguarding, and support purposes.
• Schools control access permissions, subject scopes, approved materials, and AI boundaries for their students.
• School authorities may review student progress, learning content, and AI interactions to the extent permitted by their institution's policies and applicable education privacy laws (such as FERPA in the United States or equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions).
• DivinityLearn does not independently retain or use student data in ways that bypass school-level data governance. Student data is subject to the school's data retention and deletion policies.
• When a school terminates its use of DivinityLearn, student data associated with that school's environment will be deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period.

DivinityLearn has full agentic capabilities — it can browse the web, research topics, connect to external apps, and execute multi-step tasks. When these capabilities require access to external services or your data in other apps:

• Access is granted only with your explicit consent.
• You choose which apps and services to connect.
• Data exchanged through connected apps is used only to complete the tasks you request.
• You can revoke app connections and data access at any time from your settings.
• Connected app data is not retained beyond what is necessary to complete your requested tasks.

DivinityLearn maintains memory of your past conversations, learning progress, strengths, gaps, and preferences. This memory is used to:

• Provide continuity across learning sessions.
• Personalize explanations, practice questions, and learning recommendations.
• Adapt to your learning style and pace over time.

Your memory data is tied to your account and is never shared with other users. You can clear your memory or reset your learning profile from your account settings.

Your data is stored on controlled servers with reasonable encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to operate and maintain the service. While we make every effort to protect your data, no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.

Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may permanently delete your account at any time from the Account settings page. Upon deletion, your personal information and related data will be removed or anonymised within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. Schools may set their own data retention policies for their environment.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, use your account settings or contact us. Students using DivinityLearn through a school environment may also have rights under applicable education privacy laws; in such cases, requests may be directed through the school's designated privacy officer.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page. Continued use of DivinityLearn constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
