Terms of Service

By using DivinityLearn, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of the terms, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users including students, teachers, and school administrators.

We offer account sign-in through Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are created automatically on first sign-in.

DivinityLearn is designed with student privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or use student data for any purpose other than providing the AI learning service and account management. Specifically:

• Student data is used solely for signup, authentication, and enabling the AI to work for the student.
• We do not sell, rent, or share student data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
• We do not use student conversations, learning content, or personal information to train external models.
• Student data is not retained beyond what is necessary for the service to function.
• Where agentic capabilities require connecting to external apps or services, this is done only with explicit user consent and only to enable the AI to complete requested tasks.

When DivinityLearn is deployed in a school environment, the following data governance applies:

• School authorities may be granted access to student data relevant to their institution, subject to the school's own policies and applicable education privacy laws (such as FERPA in the United States).
• Student data that is created, uploaded, or generated within a school-managed environment may be accessible to authorized school administrators for oversight, safeguarding, and educational support purposes.
• Schools retain control over what subjects, approved materials, activities, and AI capabilities are available to their students.
• Schools may configure access permissions, AI boundaries, and data retention policies for their environment.
• DivinityLearn does not override school-level data access controls or retain student data independently of the school's data governance.

You agree to use DivinityLearn only for lawful educational and creative purposes. You may not use the service to harass others, create harmful content, violate intellectual property rights, or attempt to disrupt service operations. Schools may establish additional acceptable use policies for their environment.

You retain all rights to content you create, upload, or generate using DivinityLearn. Using the service grants you no rights to our intellectual property, and you may not copy or redistribute the core components of the service. Schools may establish their own content ownership policies for materials created within their environment.

DivinityLearn provides AI-assisted learning, research, and creative tools. The AI may generate explanations, create interactive learning materials, produce documents, browse the web, and execute multi-step tasks. However, AI outputs should be reviewed and verified by users. DivinityLearn is not a substitute for professional educational advice, and users should exercise judgment when relying on AI-generated content.

We strive to keep DivinityLearn available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Schools relying on DivinityLearn for critical educational activities should have contingency plans.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DivinityLearn is provided "as is" without warranties of suitability, reliability, or accuracy. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

You may terminate your use at any time by deleting your account from the Account settings page. Schools may request termination of access for their environment. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached.

We may revise these terms from time to time. Revisions will be posted on this page. Continued use of DivinityLearn constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
